2017 sees the 12th anniversary of MediaWorks which is an annual four-day training course designed for the rising stars of the media industry. With the guidance of industry experts, MediaWorks replicates real life, challenging syndicate teams to pitch for a client with a real brief in real time. Attendees will be required to prepare a pitch for the account to a panel of industry heads and the client.
Due to the complexity of the event, it was very crucial that all related vendors and hotel to be on top of everything at any minutes. Participants were working overnight on the brief where there can be enquiries at any time of the day (night). Food arrangement from breakfast to late night supper have to be arranged carefully and conveniently, and meeting all dietary request considering this was a group from different parts of Asia. This year was also met with last-minute ad hoc changes to the programme and attendance which required quick decision making under time and budget constraints.
Clearwater Communications was entrusted with the event planning, organization and coordination with the venue both pre-event and onsite where they have successfully managed all aspects and ad hoc that arose onsite. It was ensured all delegates were well looked after and assisted during the event period.
