Female Entrepreneurs Worldwide and its signature event, Female Entrepreneurs’ Day, aimed to power female business opportunities, network female entrepreneurs and connect them with potential customers and business partners for cross-border business opportunities, especially China.
Brief & Challenge
Create the first of its kind, Business Warming Party event in Singapore, to showcase female-led businesses and their products via a marketplace, and inspire and upskill female entrepreneurs with motivational speakers, masterclasses and speed mentoring, to create a purposeful community and social movement to support female entrepreneurs.
The key challenges were optimising a small budget to achieve big impact, which included raising awareness of Female Entrepreneurs Worldwide and Female Entrepreneurs’ Day, attracting public attendees, and communicating the value proposition of the event.

Best Community Event
VIP Night comprised an exclusive, invite-only, glamorous launch event with multiple activations to celebrate the female entrepreneur community and thank corporate partners.
Female Entrepreneurs’ Day 2019@Design Orchard Capella created a two-day, multi- track business event that was interactive, fun, and community-focused, comprising a marketplace, keynotes, masterclasses, speed mentoring, yoga, health and wellbeing, and personal grooming.
Female Entrepreneurs’ Day was supported by the public who shopped and attended the event, following a digital marketing, social media, CRM, PR and partner marketing campaign to maximise awareness and public attendance.
Female Entrepreneurs’ Day achieved the business objectives, delivering an aspirational, curated lifestyle experience. The event upskilled female entrepreneurs through masterclasses featuring successful female entrepreneurs and speed mentoring. The event also offered networking opportunities for female entrepreneurs and HNWI.

Integrated marketing campaign reached over 50,000 people, generating over 26,000 page views and 13,000 web visitors.

“We hosted FED in different cities including Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen and we were thrilled to discover the energy and dynamism of Singapore female entrepreneur’s community! The event has been recognised by many participants a unique way to connect, network, learn from their peers. We were pleased to offer workshops from companies like Facebook and Instagram, and bring innovative ideas thanks to our special guest Sophie, the well-known AI robot. We look forward to host more impactful community gatherings like FED in the coming months”.
